Thankful for the Potters hands

Something I have been pondering lately are the hands and feet.  What a gift!  Just think for a moment all the places our feet take us or all the things our hands can do.

We are a masterpiece in this world of creation.  So the first photo I would like to share is the  ”Potter“. Amazing that He can take clay (dirt)  and form such a wonderful piece.

The art that He fashions can be for much use for a bowl or a cup.  Or the clay can be formed into a thing of beauty such as a vase.  I would argue that they are equally important.  As we are.

The clay does not tell the Potter what he wants to be.  He just rests in His hands~ knowing the best is yet to be.

The Potter makes that decision in His own wisdom and hand.  No matter what the Potter creates you can rest assure~ it’s the perfect piece, you will see.

The Potter V When I photographed this potter.  I noticed the ” V”  that his fingers formed.  And I thought just maybe it is for Victory.  Victory ~ that He has completed the perfect piece.

Hands are so important in everyday life, as dear as the near things that move on our heart.

Like this Mothers’ hands resting on her unborn baby.  I wonder if the tiny hands are touching back.  The little unseen hands have fingernails and finger prints.  Not to mention teeny tiny toes.

hands on bellyOur hands can hold flowers and feel a heart beating.  What a magnificent part of creation are these!   “The hands”.    They serve their purpose and not anothers.

Content to be what they are. Picking CloverTen little fingers so perfectly formed.  I wonder if the Potter exclaims ” look at this masterpiece that I formed”!   We also have hands to give or to take.

To wipe away the tears and hold each other dear.  To lend a helping hand,  to make a promise untill the end.  That is the hand of a friend that we hold so dear.Me and My BFF Yet,  you can always be sure the Potter will never turn a deaf ear.

He know where your going and He know where you’ve been.

“Fear not !  For you are more valuable than many sparrows.” Bird in the handJUST REST IN HIM!
