Merry Christmas Everyone!

Well, it looks like Christmas is upon us.  It comes whether we are ready or not doesn’t it.

Have  you ever had year when you just feel like the Grinch?  I have and this was starting to feel like that kind of a season for me.  All of the hustle and bustle.  I have to get this one that.

Who has ham on sale?  Or should we have roast beast? Then there is the  Christmas programs and family gatherings.  Ahhh, they are oftentimes overwhelming.

And the meaning of  Christmas seems to get burried under too many have to~s and should haves.

But like the Grinch there is  one thing that can totally melt  your heart.  A Cindy~Lou Who.  No matter how hard you try, you just can not resist the sweetness.

CAN YOU EVEN RESIST HER?

Cindy~ Lou Who?

I was definately tickled with joy when she gave me this pose.  Big~ huge Smile on my face….  Still smiling.  If you have read my blog for very long, you know this is not an easy pose for me to get.  But I have been trying  and have gotten some pretty great ones instead. But until now, I have not gotten this one.

Now I will have to find a new challenge.  j/k

As I was saying nothing like a baby to melt your grinchy heart.

If the first one doesn’t get you maybe this one will?

Not a creature was stirring…. not even a (super sleepy baby).

Not a creature was stirring.

What a doll baby this little one was. A dream session.   I put a vintage tint on this one.  I thought it went well, with this adorable hat my friend Diana made for me.

Back to the babies melting  your heart.  Probably no baby could melt your heart like the one on the very first Christmas.

The gift of life given to the world.  For God so loved the world :) He sent His only begotten Son.

Nativity

I love the Nativity scene.  A huge ice chunk fell off of my heart.    The First Christmas.  I wonder about it.

No waiting in long lines or encountering thecommercialization.  How PEACEFUL it must have been. Wonder filled and exciting.

And what about the shepherds that came so far to see the new born King?

Shepherd boy Isaac Shepherd boy RJ

Hum, wonder how the conversation went as they walked to meet the King of Kings laying in a manger.  Did they try to out run each other on the way?

And what about the Magi?  And the Star?  What was it really?  Was it really a star or was it like the cloud by day and fire by night?

Follow the light

Do you wonder about these things.  I find that when I do focus on the truly important things….. The Grinch heart of mine grows larger and larger.

Wonder

Even if it seems dark and cold all around, And the world is trying to steal your joy.   Your heart will stay warm and lit because of the First Christmas light.  Darkness can not live in the light.

Star of wonder star of night, guide us to the perfect light.

Tidings of comfort and Joy!

WonderWestward leading still proceeding.

Joy to the World

Comfort and Joy.  Star of wonder, Royal beauty light.  Guide us by your perfect light.  What a glorious time of year.   A time to rejoice and be glad for the gift we have been given.

jumping for joy

Can you imagine the smiles and surprise one all of those who found Him and received Him.  And that Joyful heart still exists today.

Surprise

All you have to do is answer the door of your heart  when He knocks.  And welcome Him in.

Is it any wonder God chose a child to change the world?

I heart Jesus

God so loved the world, that He gave  His only begotton Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. nasb

I do hope that the last few minutes we have forgotten all of the hustle and bustle of the world and focused on what truly matters.   This year perhaps we can make a conscious decision to focus on the real meaning of Christmas.

Christmas wishes

And just maybe, we can remember to say   HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

Merry Christmas my friend, I pray that yours is the most WONDER ~FULL time of the year!

The I heart faces button does not work. If anyone can give me a tip on this I would really appreciate it. I copy and pasted button. But still will not come up as a button.
