This weeks iheartfaces photo challenge is dramatic b&w. This moody b&w photo is my daughter from a session in the fall of
her and my niece. I snapped this last photo of the day as the sun was setting its way down for the day.
Coaxing Emma to pose for me one last time for the day.
She reluctantly put on the tattered and torn hat and gave me the sour puss face while she stood in front of the garden in our field.
She tends to be my toughest subject, rarely wanting to cooperate, yet she gives the best results. She is drama and animation at its finest.
… I loved the way the light was hitting her face and her tude was showing through, as I heard the last click of the day….
I knew I captured something special.
